Information We Collect
We collect the details you give us when you register and use OnPlas: your name, email address and phone number, your company's profile and business details, the products, RFQs, quotations and orders you create, and the messages you exchange with other members. We also keep basic technical records such as sign-in history, device and browser type and the pages you use, so we can keep the service secure and working.
How We Use Information
We use your information to run the marketplace: to create and secure your account, to show your company and products to buyers, to route RFQs to relevant suppliers, to deliver messages and notifications, to review and verify suppliers, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to improve how OnPlas works.
Information Sharing
A supplier's public company profile and published products are visible to everyone. When you send an RFQ, message or quotation, the other party can see what you send and the contact details you chose to share. Private documents you upload, such as verification files, are visible only to you and to OnPlas staff who review them. We do not sell your personal information.
Data Security
Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes, sign-in sessions can be ended at any time, access to private files is checked on every request, and staff actions on accounts are recorded in an audit log. No online service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password.
Data Retention
We keep your account and business records while your account is active, and afterwards for as long as needed for orders, disputes, security and legal obligations. We have not published fixed retention periods yet. When an account is closed at your request, sign-in is blocked first; its personal details (name, e-mail address, phone number, country, profile picture and sign-in links) are anonymised only after a retention period that OnPlas sets and may change, and only if nothing prevents it, such as an open order, an unresolved case or a legal hold. Orders, quotations, messages, payment records, consent history, sign-in history and audit entries are kept under their own rules, and you then appear on them as "Former user". Copies may also remain in backups until they are replaced in the normal backup cycle.
Your Rights
You can view and update most of your information in your account and company settings. Under Account > Privacy and your data (on the website and in the app) you can ask to close your account, to delete your personal data, to get a copy of it, or to correct it. Each request is recorded and reviewed by our staff, who confirm it is you, check what is still open on your account and tell you the outcome. Nothing is done automatically or instantly, and we do not promise a completion date. A request can be declined or only partly carried out, and we will explain why. You can also contact us through the Contact page.
Cookies
OnPlas uses a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language. See the Cookie Policy for details.
